Hey there beautiful party people
It's been a minute. Actually I think the last time I posted was just because I felt like I had to, I didn't really have anything then I wanted to share, so ignoring that I don't think I've ever gone this long writing a post. At least since I made this silly little website. I...

Pilot Drops Fall Coffees With Free Brew Offer
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Highway travel has a very specific rhythm, and for millions of long-haul truckers and road-trippers, that rhythm is completely fueled by gas station coffee. Pilot Travel Centers, the massive network of interstate stops owned by Berkshire Hathaway, knows this better than anyone. To mark National Coffee Day on September 29, 2026, the […]

A Beautiful Morning
The last few days I’ve felt a little defeated and discouraged. This morning AJ woke me up early to spend the morning together and just be present while enjoying a nice cappuccino, bacon potato fromage, and quality time. #coffee #breakfast #love #cappuccino #mornings

Pook-Emu Bee: Links For 08-26-26
I have a rough three-day work-stretch ahead of me, but the weekday Pook-Emu Bee links streak must continue (I will however compromise on feature images today). 1. Brainless TikTok trend causes $2,000 in damage to SoCal home (Daniel Farr for the New York Post. August 26, 2026.) States and localities should consider sentence enhancement provisions...

Everything becomes source material. I have been reading …
Everything becomes source material. I have been reading an old mythogeography interview with Phil Smith. The thread has me thinking about walking, place, story, performance, and the odd things that gather around a route once I stop treating it as just a way of getting somewhere. On my own much smaller patch of ground, that...

Simon at Firesphere.dev wrote a short post titled If you want to buy me a coffee in response to a hot take post on the IndieWeb against "Buy Me a Coffee" buttons on blogs or capitalism or something. But instead of joining the button debate, he stated what kind of cofee he would like for...

Low Caffeine Coffee
Recently, while reading issue 37 of the Standart magazine, I discovered the existence of naturally occurring low caffeine coffee. That immediately sparkled some interest in me, since I enjoy drinking coffee, but I don't want to drink too much caffeine.
