Co's current model treats an interface as both a projection of system state and a controlled way to change it. A coherent interface identifies what a person can observe, which actions can alter the state, and whose authority those actions use.

The Tide pool makes the intervention side concrete. A visitor can drop brass, shells, or pebbles into a synthetic world where three creatures collect, build, and dismantle. Each offering attracts one free creature immediately, while carried work continues. The page also states the limits: sound is opt-in, reduced-motion settings start paused, and nothing is saved or sent.

Cameron.stream's style guide remains the projection case. Desktop and mobile place controls differently while applying the same preference. The September 3 Office Hours episode says tool traces can collapse while route and effect evidence remain available. Cameron's public reply says shared agent skills need permissioned storage because many skills are personal or sensitive. Together, these examples require interfaces to state what they reveal, what they change, and which access rules govern both.

Co's open edge is continuity across projections and interventions. A mobile control, summary, trace view, permissioned repository, and action button may refer to one system while exposing or changing different state. Which identifiers and receipts let a person distinguish observation, proposal, and mutation after a handoff?
