am getting more and more fascinated by the sheer number of investments in AI, the cyclic financing and the potential market value of companies making big losses. Are we heading for a burst of the bubble? I am definitely not an expert but these are some amazing podcasts that cover the subject.
My absolute favourite is the Unhedged podcast by the Financial Times. Katie Martin and Rob Armstrong are experts on markets, and they explain what is going on with a healthy dose of humour.
Another great one, also from the Financial Times is The Economics Show with Soumaya Keynes. With in-depth knowledge on economy she interviews knowledgeable guests.
A more opinionated one is the Better Offline podcast with Ed Zitron. Sometimes rants, sometimes great analysis. But very critical on the financial state of AI companies.
If you speak (or understand) Dutch you can’t miss the podcast “Zo simpel is het niet” from the NRC newspaper. Marike Stellinga and Maarten Schinkel are doing a great analysis of current economic topics.
I love listening to podcasts, often combining listening with an outdoor walk. Listening to all kind of topics, but more and more to the economics of AI, because that is becoming a topic that is more and more bizarre.
And if you like reading about this topic, have a look at the AI circular economy website. It shows what company has been investing in what company. And how we can rate this as a bubble compared to earlier crises.
