Some more brochures for Edinburgh Arts Festival were taken to Talbot Rice Gallery, cured meat to the Whiski Rooms, and tea to the Witchery, which was gratefully received by all witches, regardless of gender. A free driving lesson was also handed out on the correct use...

Another busy Wednesday today! Catering was delivered to three separate offices, keeping the people working there fed and happy. Various coffee houses, including two branches of Loudons, were restocked with tea from Pekoetea. And two packages of cured meat went to Morningside and Stockbridge.

Apparently I spoke too soon yesterday. Busy day today delivering office catering, cured meats. We're increasingly helping local businesses get their goods to their customers, where it is difficult for vans to get to on the High Street, Leith, and the New and Old Towns. We also delivered tea from PekoeTea to the Witchery, and...

It has been fairly quiet this week, so far we have made 4 catering deliveries, including the two today pictured to Atria One and the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute. We also bought lunch, consisting of soup and main courses, to the Heart of Newhaven Community Centre, and cured meat to the Belfry.

Hacking culture
I've always thought that the term "the cultural sector" was a bit disingenuous, because it makes the assumption that science, engineering and everything else under its umbrella can't for some reason be a part of "culture". Ditto "creatives": it doesn't take much thought to disprove the conceit, but theatre, music, fiction writing and so on are inherently thought of as creative, while fields like software development and structural engineering are not. What a bunch of hooey. So I was proud to be

TechMeetup is a set of monthly technology gatherings in Edinburgh and Glasgow. It feels somehow illicit: the Edinburgh meetup takes place at the top of the Appleton Tower, a famous eyesore in the middle of the Edinburgh University campus. Piles of pizza and free beer are placed on tables, and after 7pm the doors are locked to the outside world. It’s great fun, and interesting, and one of the brilliant ways Scotland has been energizing its technology industries lately. It comes highly recommende
