getting really distracted and building a tarot app, but it’s going to be really good so it’s worth it 😅

i love making DIY watercolor palettes too.

there’s just something about a little compact kit that’s easy to take with me. (even though i haven’t taken one with me in a while)

never time to blog :(

i have got to get into the habit of writing from my phone while i’m out and about since i never have enough time to write when i’m at the computer. (there’s also the distraction aspect on the computer lol, too close to the codebase, just have to fix that one more thing 😭) so i guess maybe i should just blog crappily from my phone. part of the trouble here is that i can’t type as quickly, and so i can’t keep up with my thoughts. maybe one day i’ll be out here with the full mechanical keyboard + i...

About Pckt Notes & Writers Block

I'm feeling bad at writing lately. I think that's okay sometimes, not everything has to be perfect... I was thinking about the past today, and how it feels like I haven't been really in touch with my feelings when it comes to writing in a long time. I can remember the way the air felt on my skin. There was a thunderstorm r...

Trip to Soap Plant WACKO

I went up to LA today with Fig, it was a lot of fun! We were initially going to go to this art supply warehouse place (not in LA) but it apparently is right on the edge of an evacuation zone for this chemical tank that is potentially going to EXPLODE,,, and we didn't want to take the risk on that... If the chemical tank were to explode, it is expected to explode in the opposite direction of the art supply store, but still, we didn't want to risk it. So we went up to LA instead and went to Soap P...

Frosted Cinnamon Roll Pop Tarts Review

you know, i wouldn’t consider myself a pop tart connoisseur, but i do like to try some of the more “out there” flavors that still seem reasonably appealing. when i saw these cinnamon roll flavored pop tarts on the shelf beside the classic “brown sugar cinnamon” flavor, i knew i had to try them and see what could possibly be different. they are very different indeed. the frosting is icing white color as opposed to the brown sugar brown, and the crust clearly had a bit of cinnamon mixed in adding ...
