nd like, I don’t mean in the “I use apps that only run on windows” kind of way. I mean I’m installing windows onto laptops and interacting directly with the OS.

So like, why does it take 4 hours to reinstall windows?

I’m not even mad it’s kind of amazing?

Like I’ve been using linux exclusively for pretty close to 22 years now. I installed windows once to play destiny. That was 3-ish years ago, I uninstalled it after like 3 weeks, but I promptly reinstalled archlinux.

It’s fine. I mean, I totally get why people use windows. Battle tested, familiar, most of the time it kinda just works. I’m a certifiable (not certified, that costs money) computer toucher. I don’t really need training wheels (she says knowing full well she looks at the FreeBSD manual every time she runs it and spent the last 10 years reading the archwiki)
