Maple

Thursday morning, while waiting for my kettle to boil for my morning coffee ritual, I noticed how the sun lit up these maple trees in the backyard. The colours looked spectacular, so of course I had to grab the camera and tripod, go outside, and take a photo.

After I took it, I realised that if this tree in the backyard looks this colourful now, perhaps by the time I get to Ithaca next weekend to visit Kiran and Fawad, it might be too late to photograph the foliage at the waterfalls. I certainly hope not.
