Do sheep dream of electric druids?
lectric druids play a major role in a sheep’s life. When it’s time for shearing, they spring into action. Fortunately for the sheep, this only happens about once a year – but do they dream about it all year round? And what do the Celts have to do with it? And how did they get hold of electric shearing tools?
Presumably, H. G. Wells must once again serve as the explanation here. No doubt – whilst he was once again on his way to see his Weena – he’d got tangled up in some sort of time loop and had plonked himself back into the Celtic era. When he realised his mistake, he immediately put the scooter in reverse and vanished from the sight of the druids, who were staring at him in amazement. However, during the violent manoeuvre of his Time Scooter Machine, he’d apparently dropped his electric shaver, and the knowledgeable druids knew exactly how to make use of it from then on. As a time traveller, it’s always particularly important to have an electric shaver on board, especially when travelling into the past. That way, you can sometimes conceal the fact that you’ve just come from the future. The beard is simply gone.
In any case, fact-based science assumes that, ever since then, sheep have been dreaming of electric shearing druids. Visitors to annual mower machine convention were able to see the dreamy expressions for themselves on site last year. Sheep Funk.
