Work

You're born, you go to school, you work, you die.

've been at my job for just over 5 years. I actually love what I do. Just customer service, no sales. Remote. I treat it like a video game.

Today, I logged on and everything was going smoothly. Until a VPN client that we no longer use wanted to continue disconnecting me from the internet. I had to reach out to my IT department three times before someone listened to the issue and truly assisted me.

Talk about fucking frustrating.

So we're doing all this IT stuff, knowing that it isn't going to help anything, until the IT dude is finally like "I have no idea." Like...I know you don't know because you're still trying to tell me that it's my internet despite me telling you multiple times that I have other devices connected to the same internet that were having zero issues or hiccups.

So now it just won't connect. At all.

Listen, I don't care, as long as I get paid.
