Thoughts on barbs

So I've been continuing on with the Chakat story bit by bit (although for the moment I've published some other short fiction that's been stuck in my brain and clogging my creative pores; you can read about that on my daytime blog).

But back to the chakat story for a moment; like I wrote about before I'm introducing into this world the idea that it's possible (and, although see as an extreme body modification, common enough you know someone who's done it) to genetically (often with a slight surgical element) change your genitals to whatever pleases you. In this world, there are folks with more canine cocks, folks with equine cocks, and the concept is gaining in popularity.

What I've been thinkin' about is how many folks would put felid spines on their dicks. Some soft nubs, sure; but feline barbs can be pretty painful. Which makes me wonder how many folks would customize their cocks to be less useful/desirable for actual intercourse. I'm sure some would, and I'm sure there's also a subset of folks who would volunteer to be wrecked by catcock.

Just something I'm weighing.
