London based guitarist Robin Katz teams up with the understated Hammond organ player Nathaniel Ledwidge to create an album that gives hint to those classic “ New Age” albums on Windham Hill back in the 1980s. Katz plays a gentle acoustic guitar in the realm of Alex De Grassi, and his tunes are gorgeous and harplike gems as on “Floating World” and the tender “Kingdom” with Ledwidge creating ambient shades in the background. Kay uses space as a sound much of the time as on the titel tune, with his folk strums serenade on “My Friend Kushi”. Golden slumbers.
