- @notjack.space fire emblem except it's a competitive TCG and stored on atproto
- @entropy.obscurityskies.xyz battle network type thing where viruses get generated and pointed at random records and interacting with those records can initiate a net battle please pick this one I think it would be the coolest thing in the world also it has good synergy with the one below this
- @fairmaidenmary.obscurityskies.xyz Monster Rancher using Atproto to generate monsters like they used other game discs on the ps2
- @notjack.space cohost on atproto would be funny
- @notjack.space timeknife - a Constellation-like microservice that implements a lexicon-agnostic and tunable form of the bluesky lossy timeline system described in Jaz's blog post.
- @notjack.space poker on atproto as a proof of concept of modeling turn based multiplayer games with nondeterminism and hidden information using hashes followed by reveal actions combined with seeded CPRNGs. Go Fish would also work and probably be at least a little simpler.
- @entropy.obscurityskies.xyz Okay so you know https://ko-fi.com/s/e1e0f91951? Of course you know, it's awesome. What if we did an atproto second life style thing like this where each PDS server becomes a building and each user can customize a room in it. That would be so sick.
Mary note- Bluesky apts is gonna be huge- @notjack.space this is adorable, love this one
- @notjack.space a browser extension that logs what wikipedia articles you visit. Ideally would work for articles access via the Wikipedia mobile app too, but idk how to do that.
- @notjack.space Wikipedia racing, on-protocol, with a Roomy integration so that everyone in a discord server can watch the race (via the roomy-discord bridge)
- @notjack.space A Racket library for listeners (a state-change callback plus its creation-time parameterization), listenable async tasks, and listenable data structures, intended to make kill-safe multithreading easier. Could probably stick this in Rebellion easily. Needs some thought on whether and how it overlaps with synchronizable events.
- @notjack.space atproto lexicon-agnostic full text search system that's indexed per user rather than per topic. I want you be able to search everything I've liked, reposted, quoted, bookmarked, blogged, etc. probably needs some sort of lens system to determine how to e.g. get from a like record to the liked post's content. I basically want "search everything on my personal computer" but for the atmosphere. the lenses can be grouped by app into "lens kits" which contain templates for lenses for that app and also a pointer to the permission set needed to search and index that app's data with those lenses. Cute potential domain name: atmoscope.tools
- @notjack.space a hybrid between Standard Reader and hacker news / lobste.rs / frontpage.fyi. Should work like a client for your standard site subscriptions, but presented with an HN-style text only link list UI ranked by standard site recommend record counts. Tree style comments could maybe also be a thing, but I'm not sure how moderation would work if at all, given the link list would be in personalized based on the viewer's subscriptions.
- @notjack.space extend atstore.fyi with a feature for remote-installing PWAs on phones from within the atstore website, like how google play lets you install apps onto your phone from the play website. This could use records in the PDS listing a user's devices and what apps are and aren't installed on each device, plus some background service on that device which is capable of installing and uninstalling other apps. But handling permissions right for this seems tricky.
- @notjack.space Memsora deck(s) for language families of the world, e.g. "what languages are spoken in country X?" and "what is Tamil's language family?" (answer: Dravidian).
- (notjack) I'd like a little widget or something on my personal website that lists my favorite books (sourced from a BookHive shelf (AKA list) in my PDS, as well as a tracker of what I've read / am reading this month in the form of a page count bar graph chart. Might be a good excuse to learn how to put some Racketscript on my website.
